As the world is upside down, people are looking for something that is stable, that is reliable, truth that cannot be shaken, people that have a stand that cannot be shaken. It says that everything will be shaken that can be shaken, and this is it what we presently experience.

Be in Government, business, education, media, art, religion, or religion; to those who have heard of the seven mountains: they all are chaotic: Truth is declared to be a lie and lies, are declared to be truth. Masses agree on this and swim with the water they are surrounded by.

What is required more than everything else is Wisdom!

True wisdom is ancient truth, not debatable, sovereign, timeless

What is Wisdom?

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, Ps 111:10

God by wisdom founded the earth ..Prov 3:19

Wisdom is the principal thing", Prov. 4:7,

meaning, it is the fundament, it the basis for everything else.

Without wisdom, everything else collapse. In other words, the problem of the present and time and previous times is the absence of wisdom, the absence of true fundament.

While this may appear theoretical, and wise to agree to, let us be a bit practical;

When we get to a place where we need to make a decision, we often hear, I need wisdom to make the right decision. In the natural, the best choice is not obvious. So, we wish to have some supernatural input, the Lord talking to us, an angel appearing to us, revealing what to do. In order to be able to catch His voice, there is a step before: And this I want to bring to our attention for today.

To be able to follow wisdom means to be able to hear His voice and not what out emotion wants to tell us. For example, if we got betrayed, lets put it into practice, someone stole our money for whatever reason, betrayed us, and we suffer a loss, may even to the point, that our existence is under attack:

What´the reaction?

Our emotions may get crazy, with all kind of questions, how can that be? what is the background, they cannot do this, I am in a really miserable situation now, because of them...., and so on. Since these questions do not find an answer, the emotions become more and more aggressive, driven by fear, being upset, possibly moving to anger, rage, our pulse is increasing, the body comes under stress, and might even develop sickness, because we are not made for stress.

This is not wisdom!

But what then is wisdom?

In every situation, and also in a situation as the one described above, is another voice, this is the Holy Spirit, God's voice, this is the voice of wisdom.

"Wisdom shouts in the street, she lifts up her voice in the square, at the head of the noisy streets - PROV 1: 20 (in the marketplace betrays are happening, challenges occur in the everyday life)

What is wisdom saying:

Be calm,

Do not be afraid, fear not!

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding

In all your ways acknowledge him, and He will make your paths straight

(Prov. 3: 5+6).

He is saying: Trust me, look at me, do not ponder this situation, nor its misery!

Everything will be okay!

Because all things God causes to work for the best for those who love Him.

(Rom. 8:28)

Depending on how loud our emotions are active and crying, we may not even be able to hear his voice.

I have notice, that right in the very beginning, when I am informed about some happening like the above, it may any tragedy, the Holy Spirit is talking right away. If I lean into Him from the very beginning, I am on the safe side. It is like a boat: if the boat is going into the right direction, it is easy to stay on course. If the direction is wrong, it takes some time to shift the rudder and see the boat reacting, and finally seeing the boat moving in the right direction.

There are occasions I waited too long, or, even worse, instead I first talked to some Christian friends about my misery, thinking that shared pain is less pain - which is true only for the very specific moment. After a while, it because increasingly difficult to hear His Voice and turn back. the voice of the emotions, fortified by demons which took their chance is very loud.

So, be prepared!

Listen to the right voice!

Wisdom is calling (Prov. 8:1 ff)

Does not wisdom call,

and understanding lift up her voice?
